Khazer ensemble has come from Gyumri to give you a dose of Armenian national folk songs by Komitas. They are on a mission to spread the love and appreciation for national music. We hope that their moving performance will plant a seed in Armenians everywhere to delve deeper into their cultural roots and embrace the beauty of choral music. You can find a number of recorded tracks on Soundcloud and YouTube. They have even started ethnographic lessons on a regular basis in Yerevan, Gyumri, and occasionally in other regions, including Artsakh!

Today they have come together to perform at this week’s Armenia Vibes Session, and encourage you to make a donation to the Armenian Wounded Heroes Fund. 100% of the proceeds are used towards bringing medical assistance for our wounded warriors and covering the rehabilitation costs (both physical and mental). The founders of the AWHF cover all administrative costs, so that 100% of every dollar donated makes it’s targeted impact and reaches its intended recipients.
