For this week’s Vibes Session live stream we are excited to present the dynamic duo of Tiezerk with Lusine Mlke-Galstyan’s melodic voice (who also plays the flute and piano) coupled with Eliza Baghdiyan complimentary vocals and guitar! The (once three, now two girls) were joined by a love for music in 2013 when they first formed the band. Bringing Armenian folk songs to life in their own unique way, these girls have earned their fame in Armenia and have even had the occasion to tour internationally!

Every one of their performances is expressive, intimate and memorable, as they transfer the scope of their emotional maturity to the crowd. Wise beyond their years, these young ladies are energetic, honest, natural and eccentric and that shines through in their music.

This performance is particularly special, as it takes place in Dadivank, one of Armenia’s cultural treasures, a monastery built between the 9th and 13th, which unfortunately fell under the control of Azerbaijan in recent days. There is something eerily beautiful about tonight’s show, and we hope you feel that energy the way we do.
